Ian O’Brien, 46, first watched the show with his family as a five-year-old and was so fascinated that he started collecting toys and games about the sci-fi programme. The Doctor Who lover, from Old Trafford, Manchester, now boasts a living room bursting with items including annuals, DVDs, action figures and sticker books. He has since amassed a whopping 1,573 items in dedication to the popular BBC show to claim the world record for having the biggest collection of Doctor Who memorabilia. SEE MERCURY COPY.
