Pamela Anderson pops into famous Liverpool stage-door pub

December 20, 2010

Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson celebrateed her debut performance in the panto Aladdin, by sampling a traditional pub in Liverpool for the first time.

American actress, 43, who is netting a fee of more than #100,000 for her part as the Genie of the Lamp, left the Empire Theatre after the show and headed straight for Ma Egertons public house.

The blonde beauty spent over 90 minutes in scouse local and partied the night away with former Family Fortunes host Les Dennis and co-star, Mark Monaghan, who plays Abenazar.

Mother-of-two, Pammy, who shot to fame as the bikini-clad CJ Parker in the hit TV show, drank apple-ciders while listening to revellers on the Karaoke machine.

Dressed in a pink and red striped woolen dress with grey shawl, the Hollywood actress relaxed with a small entourage before joining in the fun at the old style pub.

The former showgirl and playmate modle of the month for Playboy magazine, was happy to pose for pictures and signed autographs for waiting fans.

One onlooker Paul Stewart said: “It was a bit of a shock seeing Pamela Anderson in our local, ’cause it’s not the kind of place you see a big Hollywood star.”

“I was really suprised on how friendly she was, though, very approachable and she looked like she was enjoying herself. She had a proper scouse welcome.”

Pamela left Ma Egertons pub around midnight a little worse for wear, before she was chauffeur driven back to her hotel on the Liverpool waterfront.

Liverpool’s glitzy Aladdin pantomime continues until 2nd January.
